Polestar is aimed at specialists in therapy, fitness and prevention - as well as anyone who wants to teach Pilates professionally. Our multimodal learning platform enables flexible, interactive learning and accompanies our participants from the first unit to the exam.

Polestar is recognised by leading professional associations, including the German Pilates Association, the FFMP in France and international organisations such as the Pilates Method Alliance (PMA).

Why POLESTAR Pilates?

Quality meets vision
POLESTAR stands for sound knowledge, anchored in the original work of Joseph and Clara Pilates - respectfully developed further with the findings of modern training science, biomechanics, physiology and anatomy. Our instructors not only have many years of experience, but also sound medical and therapeutic expertise from their own practice.
At POLESTAR, training means learning and teaching at the highest level.

Didactics that moves
Instead of frontal teaching, we offer interactive learning formats, supported by our digital learning platform. You benefit from modern didactic concepts that accompany you on your individualised path - practical, structured and holistic. POLESTAR screening allows you to identify functional limitations, risks and pathologies - the basis for customised exercise programmes that can be implemented directly in training and therapy. All exercises are available online in precise execution - supplemented by lectures and demonstrations.

Globally networked, locally connected
POLESTAR training programmes take place throughout Europe, North and South America, Australia and Asia - with a modular structure that can be flexibly combined. You can continue your training internationally or network with like-minded people worldwide.
POLESTAR is your partner - wherever you are.

POLESTAR - Our HISTORY

From the roots to a global movement
Polestar Pilates International was a co-founder of the Pilates Method Alliance (PMA) and the German Pilates Association (DPV) - and has been instrumental in the development of professional Pilates training programmes from the very beginning.

Dr Brent Anderson is recognised worldwide as a pioneer of scientifically based Pilates therapy. His approach still characterises the combination of movement, rehabilitation and sound didactics today.

Alexander Bohlander, osteopath, physiotherapist and alternative practitioner, is the founder of the Springs Cologne health centres. His work is exemplary for the combination of holistic therapy with intelligent training - and for a deeply rooted practical orientation.

With the foundation of Polestar Europe in the year 2000 the targeted dissemination of the Polestar concept throughout Europe began.
To this day, Polestar is based on a close partnership, deep personal ties - and a shared vision:
Strengthening people through exercise.
